These Arrow Head door hinges are made from hand-forged iron and they have a spike and band hinge. They are a high quality product, with a beeswax finish and hand forged using traditional English blacksmithing methods. The hinges are hot forged i.e. drawn to shape, not welded or fabricated. As a guide, you require hinges that are at least halfway to two thirds the width of the door that they are being fitted to, these hinges are ideal for heavy door and gates.
